The Japanese are amused by this story. [/quote]

The chances of successfully ejecting and surviving such an attempt would be extremely slim. For all intents and purposes it would be a suicide mission.

My wife and family and I were on a houseboat trip in Canada on that day. My wife was a flight attendant for American at the time. We did not have cell access on the boat and learned something was amiss through chatter on a marine-band radio. We had ski boats with us and traveled up the lake to get news at a little floating bar at the end of the lake with a satellite TV. It was very hard being isolated and my wife was almost hysterical trying to get news about friends she had that flew relevant routes. As awful as it was, the Canadians around us did everything they could to get us access to information and to help us in any other way they could, so I wanted to give a big public thanks to our friends to the North, even though I still tease Canadians any chance I get.

I was 11 years old when they fell, I remember being sent home from school and seeing the tv and not even being able to really grasp the severity of what happened so I kind of just brushed it off. Fast forward to 2010 and I’m an Ironworker on the Freedom Tower, I worked on both the Freedom Tower and Tower 4 for 3 years and I can’t even describe how unsettling every September 11th on those buildings were.

Also i remember hearing that on 9/11 there were no taxis around the area or was that just bullshit?
