Ahh yes. The age old tactic of identifying those you disagree with with those whom you know will be scorned by many. Simple, yet effective.

Same thing could be said about scientists. Scientists developed the nuclear bomb as well as many chemical and biological weapons. Therefore we should ignore science completely and in fact scorn them!! GENIUS!

Sweeping generalisations sure do make life easier don?t they?

You miss the point. You’re assuming the Loose Change theory is true. My assumption- it’s not. My point in bringing up the Holocaust theories is that there are all kinds of theories on the Internet that aren’t necessarily factually-based, and one should scrutinize these kinds of theories. Read the Holocaust theories, how ridiculous. But some people believe them as fact.

And come on, these kinds of Internet Conspiracy Theories can hardly compare to Hard, Scientific Methodology. What an Insult to the Scientific Community. To compare an internet theory to hard science is laughable.

That’s the silly in the Loose Change theories and other kooky theories like them. Certain types of people will buy into them, when in fact, they are internet lore that should be scrutinized.

You are stil implying that those that question the official story at all are holocaust deniers and anti-semites. That is ignorant, stupid and idiotic.

It’s Ignorant, Stupid and Idiotic to buy internet theories that are based upon Propaganda and Inflammatory motives. Just because it’s on the Internet doesn’t make it gospel.

So if it’s on Fox, it’s gospel is it? The biggest purveyor of Propaganda has been the US government, so yes, believing propaganda sure isn’t very bright is it? Obviously, it is far easier (for simple minds) to believe what they are told, and follow without question, because they don’t know the history or question motives.

How many people believed that Iraq was involved in 9/11? How many still believe that Iraq had WMD’s? Sure, it’s great to have Saddam Hussein out of power, but “freeing the Iraqi people” became the reason for that war after the first two reasons fell through. Yet, people still believe that the US soldiers are there “protecting the American people”. Iraq is in chaos, with 1500 people dying each month, and over 40,000 civilians dead so far. How does this protect freedom in the US?

So if you want to talk about credibility, tell me how you justify the kiling of women and children in a country that has never directly attacked the US?

 1. I don’t watch Fox

 2. Everything else is beside the point I was trying to make…scrutinize what you read on the internet.

Editor in chief of Fire Engineering(long running magazine by/for firefighters) called the 9/11 “investigation” a “a half-baked farce,”…Because that’s exactly what it was.

Just because the government or the media tells you something doesn’t mean it’s gospel either. You should scrutinise everything, not just the internet.

Instead of saying we should scrutinise things on the internet, you said:
chinadoll wrote: Conspiracy theorists have similarly scutinized the Holocaust…

http://en.wikipedia.org/…_denial
This statement indirectly blames the people who are suspicious of 9/11 with the scrutiny of the holocaust by placing them into one category.

My comparison had nothing to do with the methodologies between “conspiracy theorists” and scientists and had everything to do with holding an entire group of people accountable for one persons actions. Laugh all you want, your strawman arguements only show that you have no basis to your opinion other than your emotions.

The set-up of a straw man:

Your Straw Man by above stated method #3:

According to several different polls, at least half of New York wants an independent investigation, and if you ask me, that is more than enough people to prompt said investigation. The government is there to serve the people, and the people?s voice should be heard.

If the government is clean, then why should they oppose said investigation? Wouldn’t that silence all the dissenting voices? Wouldn’t that prove who’s right and who’s wrong?

You say:

Prove to me that these theories are based on propaganda and inflammatory motives and I will disrespect the authors of each individual collaboration that you show to be based on propaganda and inflammatory motives.

However, I had my doubts the instant that it happened. The very second someone told me that airplanes had been flown into both WTC buildings AND the pentagon I actually laughed and said “yeah, right!” My doubts were compounded when I watched those buildings collapse the way they did.

I knew that it was impossible to hijack 3 airplanes and use them as missiles in the country which has the most sophisticated air defense system, honed to near perfection from the days of the Cold War, and the most sophisticated military and intelligence agencies in the WORLD! Furthermore, to use those missiles in THE most highly monitored and defended region of that country to boot! Please! I have never and will never believe a bunch of half-assed monkeys pulled that off since day one.

These conspiracy theories consolidate the collaboration of dubious circumstance and dubious evidence that leave many questions unanswered. They may have holes in their arguements or may present additional information which is highly doubtful, but almost every single one I have read/seen presents questions and facts that we should all consider.

I never said, “The Government is Clean”, nor hold many of the views you have projected upon me-- Histrionics like that are worthless. Furthermore, you don’t even know my views, don’t speak for me or anyone else.

My point-- scrutinize what you read on the internet. And yes, scrutinize what you read in the news. Even legitimate scientific studies are to be viewed with objective eyes and scrutinized. Nothing emotional about it. Not a personal attack on you.

And if name calling, personal attacks and the like make you feel like a happy and fulfilled person, then go ahead.

You’re obviously so passionate and zealous about your own political views that even the slightest constructive criticism or commentary about another person’s views that may not even be directed toward you, is seen by you as a horrendous personal attack.

Silly.

I love when Bush testified for the 9/11 commission but they had him do it behind closed doors with Cheney holding his hand so he didn’t slip up and say anything, plus they didn’t record it in any way.

Hahaha… ahhh good times, good times. Have to love the secrecy. They’re not hiding anything though, don’t worry! bwaahahaha

You do understand that he wasn’t obligated to do even that, don’t you? He can’t make it alright for the president to be at the beck and call of congress.

He was obliged to do that, the American people wanted answers and yet we are still only left with questions.

The answers are quite clear. Those that refuse to see the truth are liars, lunatics or moronic.

The conspiracy theories have been debunked point by point and yet some whackos just ignore this.

I have read all 14 of your posts and you are already a whacko.

Congratulations.

Quite clear are they? Who funded the 19 hijackers? What evidence is there linking AQ to 9/11? I’ll stop right there because you won’t be able to answer these two questions which would be easy to answer if a real investigation into 9/11 had ever happened.

I wonder if this is what happened to people who believed the government allowed Pearl Harbor to occur, or if this happened to dissidents who claimed Hitler burned the Reichstag…Of course these people were right but it took many, many years for the truth to completely surface. Which is what also will happen with this. When many years have passed and interest has withered, truth will surface regarding the true criminals behind 9/11…too bad you won’t care then either.

You are a troll. Your opinions mean dick. You have less than 20 posts and you have started multiple threads in the Politics forum.

Go away little boy.

I find it hilarious that you think the amount of posts someone has makes their opinion somehow more valid.

Again, you can’t address anything I’ve raised because you have no response, way to go on the sidestep! Thank you for admitting defeat. Crushing the ignorant right seems to become easier with each passing day.
