I’m not really aware enough of how my muscles feel to say. But I do a LOT of band pull aparts to keep the shoulder in place.
Yeah, keeping the bodyweight trim is going to go a long way. I did a 10 mile race on Saturday, and it felt much better doing that in the 180s than it did in the 200s.
Fair enough, I tend to notice it if I externally rotate my shoulders, do pull-ups, swim and the likes. The rom within the one shoulder is lacking, as is the ability to contract my rotator cuff muscles on one shoulder.
As a 6’2 ex-skinny kid myself, i can definetly tell you, that you can be around 200lbs without anything… i started at 147lbs and was 202lbs when i went on my first dbol cycle. As i always tell my skinier clients - if you cant eat enough to get fat, steroids wont do sht for you. You will just gain water bloat and then you will pee it off just as you run out of drugs. A tissue is not made out of water, air, or good wishes. It is food that builds you. When i was in my 20s i did 1g of test, 800mgs of tren for years and was afraid to gain weight so yes, i was lean around 220lbs but i always wanted to be bigger. Now im around 260lbs on 400mg of test and 800mg of EQ only because i stoped being scared of gaining a bit of weight. I am the strongest and bigest i have ever been on 1/3 of drugs i used to take. Please, have discipline to at least get fat before you take steroids. They dont create muscle out of air, they just help to turn more food into muscle but with your starts, the food IS the problem.
For the vast majority of my life I’ve been sub 200 from relatively lean to sub 10% and I always have the feeling that running on hard ground for miles on end trashes the joints like nothing else. With extra weight it is worse.
I don’t have any joint problems; never ha. Played basketball for years; no problem. But “jogging” always was. Do a 10 km run, feel the knees for a day.
Ah, I misunderstood you then. I figure it’d take a LONG build up at 2 a day, but maybe that’s just being a part of the running community that changes my perspective. If someone found it too stressful on their system, I’d look into the underlying causes myself.
Yesterday I did my pull routine I did one rep weighted 70 lb pull up then 2/3reps 35lb. Today I am noticing some pain on the glutes, possibly sciatica. Is it possible from weighted pull ups?

Possible, yes. Likely, no. There is a very unlikely chance that you put your lumbar spine into hyperflexion for an extended time when doing chins. I do see people do this from time to time. While this may not directly have caused your sciatica, it could have indirectly, by causing a muscle to spasm and shorten, which could be putting pressure on your sciatic nerve. This scenario is far-fetched though.
What are much more likely are scenarios like Rusty Hammer described. What else did you do yesterday in and out of the gym?
Also, if you’re north of 40, hell just sleeping the wrong way can make you wake up with sciatica.
Also, so I’m not going to run a cycle of test. But I have a question about proviron. Does proviron shut down the production. And can one benefit from an oral only cycle? Thank you
Glad you’re feeling better. If you aren’t already , I can’t recommend enough a good stretching and massage routine to proactively prevent minor injuries.
Most studies on Mesterolone do not show it suppressing natural production, though I’ve seen one that does.
And yes, one can benefit from an oral-only cycle, for sure. They are just not preferred because they are harder on your organs, particularly your liver, and the gains are crap. By crap I mean they disappear just as quickly as they showed up.
Running a 12 week cycle of Test may put 30 pounds on you if you eat correctly. With good PCT, you could keep 20 pounds.
Running an oral-only Dbol cycle, for example, should only last max 10 weeks due to hepatoxicity, and might also put 30 pounds on you, but it will be shit weight and you will loose at least half upon ceasing it. I speak from experience.
When I was young and dumb, I ran two oral-only Dbol cycles. Trained my ass off and ate like a champ. A couple months after the two cycles, all I had to show for them was about 5 additional pounds of muscle and some gyno I still live with today.
Of course there are other orals you could run by themselves, but nothing that will give you significant, keepable gains. Which then begs the question, why stress your liver and have nothing to show for it 6 months from now?
