Reading back through the thread here are the reasons for the Left’s Palin hatred:

  1. She’s stupid
  2. She doesn’t know the issues
  3. She’s inexperienced
  4. She is a young earth creationist
  5. She’s a “f-ing cunt-ass bitch.”

All… well, valid.

I don’t want to vote for an unintelligent person who doesn’t know the issues, has been governor for two years, and believes that the Earth is 6,000 years old.

Hell, I could find a homeless guy on the corner that fits those qualifications. [/quote]

I’m sure your IQ is positively stratospheric.

What is it you do, exactly? Lemme guess. Rocket scientist? Brain surgeon? Starbucks barrista?

Of course, if we’re to say that Palin believes the earth is six thousand years old because her church believes it, then we have to say that Barack Obama believes the same things Jeremiah “US of KKKA” Wright and Michael Pfleger believes. Talk about homeless guys on the corner! I’ve seen plenty of homeless schizophrenics deliver more coherence than Wright, but who am I to criticize Obama’s intellectual appetite?

Because none of that stuff can be refuted.

Incorrect but then again we can both talk subjectively all day long.

He’s voting for Palin on identity politics, plain and simple. She’s not one of those Ivy League city folks, she’s common, simple folk, etc. Cultural resentment and anti-intellectualism…

To a certain extent, you’re right (and there is nothing you can do to stop me).

The fact that Obama is grossly unqualified, has less command of most issues than someone who simply reads a good newspaper every day, and can do little more than trade in soundbites, is irrelevant to that kind of voter.

You are completely correct in the above!! Hear, hear! (I had to edit it slightly but you’ll understand that it has everything to do with the setting the facts straight)

Ok. Except that this thread is not about tolling the virtues of Obama. As many of us agree that he has few. And many aren’t even voting for him.

But this thread is about Palin’s utter incomeptence, something you and others on this forum miraculously continue to deny. If it can be refuted, why haven’t you or any others presented any legitimate arguments doing so in the last several months? It’s almost like denying the Holocaust. I could pull a pull a Headhunter and go on with the ludicrous comparisons, but there’s no need. It’s quite obvious without moving into the absurd.

Here again comes that argument that if Obama is similarly incompetent, that someone makes Palin ‘not’ incompetent. That doesn’t logically follow. At all. There’s plenty of incompetence to go around.

Although I’d certainly agree that neither Reverend Wright nor Palin’s church have anything to do with it in my mind. Their personal shortcomings are blatantly obvious without having to move to associational issues.

Can this thread be turned int “50 Reasons Why The Right Is Throwing Sarah Palin Under The Bus?”

But the media is doing what it does best with this issue.

I’m surprised its not happening to McCain.

You got someone in mind?

She is the Governor of the only Socialist state in America

I dunno. Hate seems to be that family value the extreme right espouses. None of my commie friends (i.e. Democrats) said bupkis about Sarah other than her total lack of a skill set to be President once John McCain had his inevitable stroke in the Oval Office.

I never heard anyone say a word about an assassin’s bullet and Sarah Palin like the mouthbreathers in the Republican base did regarding Barack Obama. My biggest disappointment continues to be the lack of nude pictures of Sarah from college.
