I think home team will be the deciding fact on the road to the Super Bowl. Do I say Eagles VS Raiders… So far all the home team won through out the play-offs except Green Bay. Don’t know what happen there… The best game so far was the Titans VS Steelers.

I am laughing my ass off that the 49ers are gonna hire Denny Green. That has got to be the worst move in the world. Oh for all the Bay area people Greens nickname here in MN was “Fat Dumb” cause well he’s fat and dumb. Pay attention to if he hires Richard Soloman. He’s his best friend and was an absolute cancer to the Vikings. The players hated him, and all green would do is move him around or promote him. The best part is that the the niners are coming to the metrodome next year also known as the “Big Inflatable Toilet”. Should be a fun game for viking fans.
Could be a PC move (perhaps) on the part of the NFL thanks to pressure from his majesty Johnny Cochran. Its not about money he proclaims? And the sky is plaid I suppose?
Why would the 49ers hire a losing coach? I don’t get.
Perhaps because of what I stated above. Although another factor is that its actually Bill Walsh’s team, with the coaches as figureheads. For instance George Seifert inherited a great team and (although with player transitions) with the 49ers. As did Mariucci. Bill Walsh has created such a perfect system that it almost seems irrelevent who coaches the team. Walsh is listed as a “consultant” but in actuality I believe his role is far more substantial than the organization indicates.
One of these two reasons is possible. PErhaps even both?
Dennis Green’s not a losing coach, however, he’s never won a big game. His regular season record in Minny is 97-62 over 10 seasons, with an embarrassing 4-8 postseason record.
The shocker was the overtime loss to Atlanta in the 1998 NFC Championship game, when Green had a 15-1 team and couldn’t even advance them to the Super Bowl.

The 49er organization considers a losing playoff record totally unacceptable; thats been true for years.
