You talk about taking things over time. I am wondering if you have or will have 750mg on board.

NOTE ON BANNING POTASSIUM BROMATE IN BREAD:

The UK banned bromate in bread in 1990.
Canada banned bromate in bread in 1994. (23)
Proposal P230 in Australia: Food Regulation Ministerial Council (FSANZ)
still has not finalized its July 2007 proposal to mandate iodized salt in
breads, breakfast cereals and biscuits.

Back in 1999, the Center for Science in the Public Interest petitioned the
FDA to prohibit the use of potassium bromate, charging that the FDA has
known for years that bromate causes cancer in lab animals, but has failed
to ban it. (24) As of September 2007, the US FDA responded to Breast
Cancer Choices inquiry with the statement, " Potassium Bromate is still
listed as a safe additive."

Ksman, by on board I’m thinking you are meaning body saturation? I think I may have it now, because I started the 50mg a day back on 3-2-13. It’s been 4 weeks and I still have 6 tablets left. I will order the 12.5mg tablets and may take it daily, then see how I feel. I do feel alot better in the areas of brain fog, fatigue, and overall well being. Something else that has helped is the fact that for the past 10 days I have decreased my 10mg Ambien nightly to 5 mg while adding 6mg of melatonin. I don’t feel like I get into that deep sedative sleep that comes with Ambien, but the sleep seems to be the ‘real’ sleep my body needs (I’m dreaming which while on 10mg of Ambien for the past several years I didn’t)… Goal is to eliminate Ambien all together. Then I will tackle the low testosterone thing.

A reminder to use a time release melatonin product. If not, it is gone in 4-5 hours and falling melatonin is the mechanism of waking up. You may know, but other readers need to know this too. And trazodone is a good [and very inexpensive] option as well if one must resort to an Rx sleep aid.

Hmm, I didn’t know about time released melatonin, thanks. When I eliminate the half tablet of ambien in 2 weeks I may go to trazodone to help.

I started today with 25mg lodoral and will drop to 12.5mg in 7 days for maintenance. I have noticed my body temps in the morning are around 97.3 - 97.6 and afternoon temps (3pm) are between 98- 98.5. Still slightly lower than the 97.6 waking temps and the 98.6 mid day temps recomended. Is this a problem? My well being, mood, and energy is alot better than when I began, so I think I’m seeing progress.

Temps are running normal. 97.3 to 97.7 waking temp and 98.5 to 98.6 around 5:00pm…

Thanks KSman forthe advise.

Now as for the low Testosterone I have been eating beter (kinda following Wilsons book), excersising 3 days a week with power lifts (not as strong a I used to be, but seeing some resuls), and sleeping better with the melatonin and half ambien (will totally quit the half tablet ambien in another week). I will recheck bloodwork again in 3 months to see if Testosteone levels go up. If not we will cross that bridge then.

Again thanks.
