Found this at I-Mockery. Now we have both extremes:
Apparently, “Feeding Kids Meat Is Child Abuse”. It’s a funny read.
Can’t people only give their kids one or two burgers? It always has to be a million or zero with some parents, GOSH!

I’d kill for triceps like that.
They are thinking of taking the 200lb+ British boy away from his parents. This poor girl should have been taken from her parents 200 lbs ago. It is sad to say that but how is beating your kid vs feeding them to death any different? I am so disgusted!
I think UK is voting a law on this, or at least the topic was brought up recently.
Could you just imagine such a law in North America? Foster home would face a huge increase, no pun intended.

I swear I thought I read 400lb deadlift at 7 years old. I was surprised and wanted to see the video.
Well i’m still kinda surprised…
I say put her in the APF and see how much she could squat. She obviously has great leverage, and judging by that video, she should have no problem keeping her knees out.
I bet her bench would be awesome in the new Metal Bash.
Her deadlift would obviously suck, but if she got ahead in points before the pull, she could do pretty good.

I agree with the professer if you cant control what you kid eats at 7 what the hell are you going to do when thier 16
It goes beyond that, IMO. You either got to grossly overfeed her, or she’s got some type of metabolic disease. Maybe a combination of both, but in any case, that’s criminally incompetent of the parents not to have done anything beforehand.
I mean the girl can’t even walk, for crissake. That’s at the age where every kid is an instoppable tornado of energy in a house! You got to do some serious chewing before ending up at 400lbs at this age, no matter what the other factors. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe that’s even possible…

In the case of the boy, the parents just flat out stated that they feed him simply because they love him and don’t want to tell him, “no”. These people shouldn’t even have kids. To keep allowing some kid to stuff their face until they literally can’t walk is insane. To blame it on love is even crazier. It is also no surprise that this seems to only happen to fat adults.
“Got any popcorn?!”
“No, child, you’ve eaten enough popcorn for everyone living in the Northern continent of North America plus several surrounding islands and at least one small third world country…and that’s just this week. Have a fucking carrot stick and shut the fuck up.”

oh god that made my day!
In extreme cases, would it ever be medically sound to induce a coma and IV nutrients, but at a severe caloric deficit?

The local authorities decided to let the boy stay with his mother, but they haven’t released the conditions agreed upon.
Wow, 400lbs in 7 years. Talk about a hardcore bulk.

Silly rabbit trix are for kids… but don’t eat the rabbit too
Thanks for the heads up g’em.
Prof, that should be a medical prescription. No wonder so many people don’t even know what veggies are…

I think that it really comes down to what they are feeding the kids. Popcorn is probably a health food in these households.
My 2 year old nephew pretty much is allowed to eat as much as he wants. However, his choices of food range from cottage cheese, whole grain pasta, whole grain bread, fruit, yogurt, etc. He is rarely given anything like cookies or ice cream. The result has been that he loves berries, and really hasn’t developed much of a taste for the sweeter stuff.
For instance, when my sister-in-law was baking cookies with him for the Christmas holidays, he got one cookie as a treat at the end and didn’t even request another one. But if you tried to only give the kid one strawberry, you would have a fight on your hands ![]()
The thing that dumbfounded me the most was
“Jessica, I’m 19 Years Old and I Wanted To Say Your Story Has Touched Me.”
Who the fuck cares if you’re 19.
and oh, that’s one large 7 year old. Might be time to cut.
The whole point here isn’t just how fucking huge that 7 yo is. Pretty much anyone will see that. Heck, it’s even pretty huge for an adult.
The real dealbreaker is, should the parents be punished? Lose custody of the child? Where’s the line between criminal incompetence that will cost money for us and health problem to a child, and simple laxness in eating habits?
I’m not trying to start a riot over it, but sheshhhh, how minimally competent are her parents at managing the upbringing of a child. I don’t know if she’s an only child, but I sure wish she is, for the sake of her unborn siblings
