Yes I agree.
A little bit of a check in. Been almost 3 weeks on the cream and starting to feel a bit better. Had 2 really good days right before my own production started shutting down. At least that is what I am thinking it was, than for about a week started to feel right back where I was but have slowly seen some improvements. As of right now I still think my E2 is low because I sound like I have crumpled paper in my knees when I squat down (been avoiding legs at the gym due to this) I’m a little over emotional at times and still feel relatively tired most of the time. Don’t quite feel like I am going to fall asleep at the wheel on the way home from work though. Still having trouble getting motivated getting to the gym but once I’m there though my workouts have improved quite a bit from where they were. Looking forward to getting more labs run and more than likely having dosage adjusted to keep building on where I’m at in improving quality of life.
Yes. Expected.
Is weight gain common when first starting out. I was hoping I would start losing but instead started gaining. That is one frustrating part I’m struggling with. Pullups at around 250 are f$^king hard. Lol
Does anastrozole cause you to start sweating more as its bringing your E2 down? I’m sweating a hell of a lot more in the gym and just wondering if that is what was causing it. I’m not much of a sweater so its different to me.
I think so. If your e2 was causing water weight that’s the water coming out. Weigh yourself before and after. If you lose a good amount it’s the water weight from the declining e2 or the high e2
Apparently if doing cardio you can weigh yourself before and after. To see patterns. If e2 is high your suppose to lose a lot more water weight.
And the ring test. If ring fits tight your retaining water.
That’s what I was thinking but secretly was hoping it was my metabolism firing back up the furnace from the T. I don’t notice a difference with my ring but I wear a silicone one that has always been a little tight. Before T I already had swollen ankles but may have already had higher E2 but not sure as 1st doc didnt check and my current didnt until after a month of being on
You mae a great point stating all the conditions that follow with low T. But I have a question that I have not seen on many forms. If I take Testosterone + HCG+ Armidex and im only 30 If I have to take this for the rest of my life can these medicines start to cause problems them self such was cancer or anything else that could majorly harm me???
I don’t recommend starting out on a bunch of drugs all at once, start on TRT only, retest in 6 weeks and if high E2 symptoms are present, if there’s room to lower the Test dosage do that before adding in the AI. Dissolve arimidex in vodka and dose that way if you are an over-responder.
HCG can do wonders for some men, others it causes mood problems and some it does nothing. If you’re one of those men with mood problems on HCG, you could mistakenly believe that your test dosage is the problem and go in the wrong direction or double down on the AI crashing your estrogen.
You should be more concerned by the known outcome of not going on TRT, if low testosterone leads to disease, then there’s only one path forward. Arimidex long term isn’t recommended, it’s fine if your attempting to gain control of a situation, losing body and improving your health should allow you to remove the arimidex from the the equation.
Most men can stop the AI after weight loss. There are no studies showing TRT causes cancer, as a matter of fact some who had prostate cancer while on TRT show complete remission.
I agree that one drug at a time may be best. So I just talked to my doctor today. He took me off the cream I guess I was not absorbing it very well because my Total T was starting to decrease. So he has not put me on the injections sub Q he put me on 50mg twice a week along with 100i.u of HCG with no A.I for now
But Correct me if im wrong I remember a few months back you said you had low SHBG like me. Mine is 20pg.
But did we come up with the conclusion that when you have low SHBG that someone should receive daily injections???
After donating do you get an immediate relief of symptoms of high hematocrit? The only symptom I have is a tingling in the finger tips and getting rather annoying.
Doc called me after new set of labs last night. Told me my total test is up to around a 1000 and estrodial is sitting in a good spot but didn’t give me a number. I’m feeling pretty good so kind of glad not to know too many other numbers so that I am not chasing them. Although I think I need to journal more for myself on how I am feeling at certain points and get the numbers to corroborate with how I am feeling. For right now though I am content to ride it out as I am feeling good. I got the call at the gym and getting that number caused me to absolutely kill the rest of my workout. I’ve been killing it in the gym the last couple of weeks but mentally it just went another level lol. I am on a cream though so will have to see if it maintains or will it lose its effectiveness.
Amen. Same here
Im guessing you are talking about America, i would really hope that its much like Australia the ranges are a moving average of “healthy” people who have no symptoms.
The ranges move based on assessment of public averages. Given that more than half the US population is obese and estrogen dominant the averages are diminishing and sad. My lab ranges are 175-781 which is an absolute travesty. Two years ago the upper healthy number was 1100 and the lower 350. I scored a 265 a few years back so I wouldnt even be able to get covered for TRT if I got those labs back today.
Yup my lab ranges are 264-916. I scored 307 so am not able to be covered. On the plus side I think my labs are cheaper through my doc than they would be with insurance. He only takes two different labs though unless things aren’t working then will investigate further. He also has a deal worked out with the compounding pharmacy so it’s not too bad either for the meds.
The ranges everywhere and not just in America have gone down, the standards have gone lower. Here we can game the system and go private to get treatment, the standards are higher when you’re footing the bill which proves insurance companies are in full control of doctors.
Doctors aren’t really practicing medicine anymore quite like it was years ago before we have these fancy blood tests. The smart high achievers who refuse to be controlled by the insurance companies have left sick care to go back to practicing medicine.
They have my respect.
A lot of doctors fail to realize that these ranges are not the land of the law for men getting treatment (even if the insurance company denies treatment) they are suggestions and isn’t the be all end all of whether someone should or shouldn’t be considered for treatment.
Ahhh yea so the same, just the way i read your original comments about it sounded like the insurance companies had their hands in tweaking the numbers to suit them.
What does TRT cost in the states?
In Australia,
An initial appointment with an endo $300 medicare gives back $33+ cant remember.
Follow up with endo $135 medicare give back $33.
Pharmacy prescriptions
3ml primotestion- $33
1ml Sustanon- $37
Viagra - $35 for 12 x 100mg
Depending on your General Practitioner you blood work is free and you can have whatever you want done.
I averages out to $150 per month or $2000 yearly which includes consults, labs and medicine.
So really if you dont take conversion rates in to the equation. Buy the time you have done the above. And i was to add hcg / AI. Its probably comparable.
Though including conversion rates, damn thats expensive.
