Oh, I know. Even though Wild Bill will wag his finger and say, “Not my fault!” (which he’s been doing a lot of lately), he shares the blame. My only point is that I think he’d have better ideas with respect to how to get things moving again (or at least listen to people other than Pelosi and Reid) then Obama. Obama seems totally lost. He’s still campaigning for for Christ’s sake! He’s out pimping this turkey rather than taking the time needed to get right.

Believe me! I’m not saying I want Clinton back. All I’m saying is that in contrast to Obama, from what I’ve seen thus far, anyone would be better.
The data in the chart you posted raises an I-think-legitimate question:
How correct is it to say that the big problem of the economy is that not enough credit is being extended, and the fix is to pump in trillions so as to enable expanding credit – that is to say, total debt – that much further?

The stimulus bill may place monies in your pocket today (emphasis on may) but it WILL take monies out of your pocket tomorrow. This bill needs to be paid for some how, and where do you think that money will come from?
Economic Growth. (kind of the point of the “stimulus”)[/quote]
economic growth and double digit inflation? that would be quite the feat.
