I just got the results for the second round of my blood work and here are the results:
Pituitary Function
Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) - 3.0 [1.0-8.0] IU/L
Luteinizing Hormone (LH) - 2.7 [1.0-7.0] IU/L
Prolactin - 18.0 [4.0-19.0] ug/L
Tumour Markers
Prostate Specific Antigen - 0.71 [<4.0] ug/L
Reproductive and Gonadal
Testosterone - 17.7 [8.4-28.8] nmol/L
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin - 50.7 [10.0-70.0] nmol/L
I have also started taking 200mcg of Selenium per day in a multivitamin, as well as 1000mg Vit-C, 800iu natural source Vit-E, and fish oil as @KSman has recommended. My body temperatures have gone up slightly since starting, and I haven’t felt as cold in the afternoon, although they still appear to be low. It looks like at this point, the next step will be waiting for my follow-up appointment with my endo in a month, at which point I will ask to have my fT3 and rT3 measured as well. Although my testosterone levels are below borderline acceptable, I think my blood results point to my thyroid being the main issue here.
