This was sensitive Estradiol test from LabCorp. Any ideas regarding the fluctuating T numbers?
The time of labs means everything, early morning and numbers will be higher than midday. Test levels aren’t static, you’re only capturing a snapshot of what’s really going on. You obviously need TRT if labs were taken in the morning.
1st late (285 T) taken at 9am. Second lab (596 T) taken around 12:30pm. Third lab (368) taken around 1:30pm. Even discounting the first lab done by the T clinic, I do not think timing is the explanation unfortunately.
The medications you’re taking on and off could explain your numbers fluctuating, these drugs wreck hormones. I was on Vyvanse (similar to Adderall) and would have incredible energy in the mornings, later in the day I would experience a crash out of nowhere. These drugs can create unnatural rhythms in your hormones levels.
Hmmmm that’s a thought, although i think it probablyh is not the explanation. The addy dose is very low, and I don’t notice any difference in my overall symptoms depending on whether i take it or not. I have some family members that experience the crashes you mention, but I’m generally pretty even throughout the day (even if it’s a bad/low E2 day), and don’t even crash at night after the addy wears off. That being said, if I exhaust everything else I might consider tinkering with the addy usage.
