23 Years Old. Low T, High Estrogen

E2 is low because FT is low, reducing FT–>E2

E2 is not reducing LH/FSH via HPTA feedback.

Now you need to test prolactin to see if that is elevated. Not a rare problem. If elevated, a MRI is used to see how big it is. Prolactin is thought to be HPTA repressive. A growth on you pituitary can lower LH/FSH production.

We do see a many cases of low thyroid function here with young guys. This can be as simple as iodine deficiency from not using iodized salt. You can eval overall thyroid function via last paragraph in this post. DO NOT THINK THAT IS A MINOR CONCERN. If temps are low and you were not using iodized salt, try to get temperatures up with iodine+selenium.

you need to do a lot of reading

Please read the stickies found here: About the T Replacement Category - #2 by KSman

Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.
