23 Y/O with Low T, Worried

Ok. A mile south of you is a Dr in a blue van. He will help you. You will see the letters trt on the side of the van in white

Just arm yourself with studies showing you are right, studies can sway a doctors decision more than begging.

Nova Scotia, Canada

A Bluenoser. Where are you in Nova Scotia? You might have to look in Halifax or somewhere to find a good specialist.

I’m in Halifax but couldn’t find any information or a specialist located here, at least from searching for one online

I’m worried that since my T level is technically in the ok range they won’t give me proper treatment. I’m experiencing all the symptoms of low T

Do the testicles ultrasound and the labs i mentioned above or as many as you can.

We have a few Canadians on here. Hopefully they can share their Dr. Search the forum as well

A Partial list of places, They Might Have more

Nothing Nova Scotia though. My grandmother is from Lunenburg, but I don’t really have any contacts out there.

Got the biologically available testosterone number today. I’m at 1.9 in a range of 2.5-10. Gonna have an appointment with urology to try to fix the problem with my left teste but I’m honestly hoping I can get TRT, I’m quite doubtful that even if my injury is repaired that the teste will be able to produce more T.

If they can fix it, that’s better than TRT. Natural is easier all the way around.

I’m just worried since it’s been more than a year since the original injury that it probably won’t be reversible. Do you think that’s likely?

It may seem shitty now, but I truly believe that the people who get taken out of our lives make way for the better people we’re supposed to be with. I felt the same way after my last chick left me. No confidence or anything. I was devastated and at the time, I didn’t know I was dealing with low T as well. That was the best thing that ever happened to me though. Now I got a chick who supports me with everything! You just gotta get back out there. Hit on every chick you can. It’ll get your confidence up. Even if you feel stupid at first. The last time I was single, I hit on everything. Fat chicks, hot chicks, the chick at the drive through window, the Starbucks chick, tinder, bumble chicks. Literally every girl with a pulse haha. After a bit, my confidence shot through the roof and I was taking down several new chicks a week. Take that Cialis and Viagra and get back out there!

I wouldn’t worry about that. A year is not that big of a deal.

Ok. Hopefully it can be done naturally. I’m also thinking what if they fix it and my levels go up say 30% but never get into optimal range. That’s my other concern because at that point I’d rather have TRT but they won’t give it to me

Yeah I’m thinking the same. Just need to get my T levels higher so I can actually feel good and confident again. I love her still though. Really tough going through a breakup and finding out about low T at the same time. There’s better girls out there but the heart wants what it wants too.

The heart has no logic though brotha. Its all emotion. Even when we know a person isn’t good for us, the heart tells us to stay. We just gotta break away long enough for logic to kick back in.

I just started TRT myself. I’m about 5 or 6 weeks in now. Its crazy to think I dealt with the symptoms as long as I did. Its been a bit of a roller coaster but I’m leveling out now. And over the last week and a half give or take, when I bang my chick, hard as a rock to the point where I have to take it easier on her. Its a commitment though. I’m 10 years older then you, and I still had to really think about whether or not I wanted to commit to it. I talked with my girl, my parents, friends and several different doctors before I decided to go for it. I also went in to the cryobank and froze sperm before I started.

Yeah if I go on TRT I’ll freeze sperm too. Still want kids. I was with her for almost 7yrs though. Pretty crazy we were planning on getting married and having kids, then she started losing attraction and went cold. I’m thinking the fact that I have less T than a 90 year old probably played a major role.

You seeing a good result 6 weeks in? Less symptoms?

Sex drive has increased and erections are crazy in the first 3-4 days after my shot. Its almost like I took Cialis. As far as the other stuff. Brain fog, energy, being able to focus, which was my main reason I started it hasn’t changed much. From my understanding, TRT can take a while to level out and certain benefits may not occur initially. Your body has to re-regulate and acclimate to the hormonal changes.

I look at it like the experience I had when I started taking Wellbutrin. I started about a year and a half ago for chronic fatigue (which was probably low T actually) and it took months until the initial side effects subsided and I started to feel the benefits.

You inject im?
