He’s not greedy at all, he just gets paid appropriately for his high-quality paintings. And for his expertise in the Ukrainian Energy sector. He’s a man of many talents, and the smartest person Joe Biden knows.
Also, I hear he has an affinity for smoked parmesean - but I don’t see why that needs investigating.

Throw them in prison. Make the laws apply to everyone. And don’t you champion a system based on greed(capitalism)?
They write the laws and hold the keys to the prisons. So, AGAIN what is your plan to change the greed out of human nature and for another to not just rise up and take over the system you create?
I think you forget these people are there for a reason and control things for a reason. They are smarter than you and good at it.
I champion capitalism because over any other system it rewards merit. I have built everything I have FROM NOTHING. I wasn’t a trust fund baby. I wasn’t gifted any money or anything else. So, why would I not champion that which has given me everything via my hard work and business sense?
I understand if you are a loser and can’t float or don’t want to work or are just terrible at providing for yourself.

No, they didn’t. Likely there is no billionaire who is self-made and there are zero ethical billionaires.
There are self-made wealthy men but they are rare. I do believe @Bauber is self-made.

She seems OK, but I will likely never vote again, simply because at this point even an OK politician cannot resolve America’s problems without radical measures. At this point America is a fake country and one can rightfully call this territory/place of residence/economic zone post-America. That is, America is finished.
(My beliefs. If someone believes differently, that’s fine.)
I’ve only voted twice since being eligible 25 years ago, and one of those times was because my then girlfriend/now wife said “let’s go vote,” and i mindlessly checked some people.

For a while I worked for and/or interacted (it would be presumptuous to say that “I knew” them) with several people worth mid-nine figures.
They’re by virtue of their position totally unhinged (a normal person would have cashed out much earlier, such as MySpace Tom) and these underlying psychological traits that drove them forward are compounded by decades of being surrounded by acolytes destroying much of critical reasoning.
The kind of people who attribute luck, chance or a unique set of business/political circumstances to their supernatural intelligence. They really do believe that after an hour or so of googling they could take on literally any human activity or endeavor and that they’d be better at it that anyone else.
And they’re boring. Like boring as fuck.

OMG you want a system with more unions which only encourages people to work at the level of the laziest person because working harder gets one the same raise as the lazy asshole who shows up to work late and takes 8 smoke breaks.

Not all are, but I’d like for the chance to be a self-made millionaire to always be there.
I’ll never be a billionaire or in that club. I’ve encountered a few and they are…. Different. No is not in their vocabulary and they don’t believe anything is impossible if they want it.
I’m not hyper intelligent or a specimen intelligent wise. I work hard and I’m good with people. I can read a room well and work it to my advantage. I’d probably do well in politics, but I can’t stoop that low.
I want to see Bill Gates or Elon Musk try their luck at out lifting me.
Also, show me a system that doesn’t promote greed or get corrupted by it.
I’ll wait.

I had a conversation with the cashier at a local little store I used to frequent. She was all hopped up on manufactured outrage that day, talking about Jeff Bezos and how god awful it was that he had all of that money, and that there ought to be a law capping wealth.
So I pointed out to her that laws apply to all. So now Jeff isn’t allowed to earn billions, but neither are you. Neither is anybody else.
Then I asked her- “Now do you think thats fair? Now nobody can earn more than $300,000?”. That was her number for how much anybody should be allowed to earn.
She thought that was fine. Nobody should NEED more than that.
So I dropped the number to $50,000. She didn’t like that. I asked why not. She said thats not fair to anybody.
I said “Thats what you’re asking for. For the government to set limits on wages. Carefull what you wish for. You might get it!”.

In which representatives are democratically elected. One could argue that no government, including the one in ancient Athens, has ever been a democracy but rather there have been forms of democracy. Ancient Athens, starting with Cleisthenes was a direct democracy.
