Anybody gonna check out this Thursday Night Sky-Cam game? Titans at Steelers.
Sky cam is weird. Waiting for a drone to get smacked by a football eventually.
Can’t argue with the outcome of the game though. First time stillers looked legit all year. Every phase executed. Get to spend the whole weekend rooting against the Pats.
Tough one for Tennessee.
Sky Cam was a little disorienting, I kept losing track of where on the field (what yard line) the ball was on.
But it was cool to see some new angles. You could really see the speed and athleticism when guys ran, or the touch on nice passes. Also, just the general sense/importance of pushing the ball down the field for the offense, and keeping everything in front of the defence. Things are different in the trenches than they are on Sports Center.

Yea man … that was a total bitch move … a literal kick him (or flop on him) while he’s down.
As a Pats fan, I’d hope some sort of disciplinary action would be taken against him. His intent seemed to injure regardless of his regret later. Total bitch move.
If they do suspend him, I’d hope we get him back for the Steeler’s game … that’s gonna be fantastic game (I hope)

Our hapless corners couldn’t cover a candle with a snuffer so it doesn’t matter whether he plays. I predict Brady dices the fuck out of Stillers zone defense like he always does. If the offense shows up Stillers lose by one touchdown. If the offense doesn’t show up they lose by 21 points.
Does anyone know how they allow/disallow knee and elbow braces and such in the NFL? It seems like that big metal thing is a hazard… now that he’s used it to concuss someone… on purpose. How does it protect him from injury more than a sleeve?
Is there a vetting process or will this slowly morph into armored guys with blades on their arms?

At least the Steelers made it close with no AB, shazier or any competent corners at all.

They played 55 minutes of good football and then decided to run on 1st/2nd and 20 and not cover gronk on the last drive at all. Then the fake spike that only 5/11 Steelers players knew was a fake spike… just such a Tomlin way to lose (aggressive when you shouldn’t be and playing it safe when you shouldn’t). He won a SB with Cowher’s team, and likely won’t win another.
Maybe root for the J. Jaguars from the AFC. Philly from the NFC.

I’m not saying I agree with the call - James looked like he caught the ball to me, but I can see the argument that he never had control all the way through the play. Shitty rule, right call. FWIW I’d say the same thing had it been Gronk who bumbled it falling to the ground - I’d just be a little more bitter about it.

I agree. While I’m salty about the call the Steelers shouldn’t have needed the TD there. Haly’s play calling was atrocious on the Steelers 3 and out drive to give the ball back to the GOAT with all their timeouts. They Falconed.
Now the AFCCG will be in Foxboro. So massholes will wake the team up at 4am, the headsets won’t work, BB will sacrifice a burnt offering to the football gods and absolutely nobody will be able to cover gronk.
