Let’s go super Hype Bowl. I like how they have to talk about mundane popular topics before the Hype Bowl to gain general interest. I love football but is the most over hyped event in pro sports as exciting as the game is. My reasoning is that in every other pro sport you have to win a series. The morale of a team can be trumped in the first 10 minutes. We have seen this so many times
To the best team that day! Carolina eeks out the win Cam can not be contained for 4 quarters. I noticed that the defense on the field less seems to win. These guys are huge and fast yet do not have stamina to play an entire game.
Oh yeah if they do prosecute Peyton they will look stupid as hell is what I mean bruh. Like the Golden child of a entire era would be ruined. With all the shit facing the NfL if i was in their shoes I would drop all investigation on this. I bet you over 70 percent of the league uses something illegal it’s a waste of time.
Newton tanked, Carolina didn’t utilize his running ability. Von Miller is a beast, he should win MVP even though it will probably go to Peyton.
It’s good to see Newton is back to his classy ways…
I want to find the post I made a couple months ago saying something along the lines of “if the Denver D plays like they did last night, they will win the whole damn thing.”
Denver’s D was amazing, Manning did all he had to do, which was not lose the game for them, and Carolina didn’t play up to the moment, and instead looked very, very human out there.
Hat’s off to Denver. Good game for the most part. I think the officiating was pretty poor, just like the rest of the season, but in the end, that certainly isn’t why Denver won.
I lost all respect for Newton in this game. The moment that summed it all up was the moment when he opted not to dive for that ball. It was the most critical moment in the Panther’s game! They had to retain the ball to keep their chances alive and Cam was in the best position of every player on that field to get it and what does he do instead of diving for it? He says “Naw, fuckit”
EVERY SINGLE quarterback in the NFL, except maybe Johnny Manziel, would have dove for that ball.
It’s easy to get enamored with Cam’s physical talent but his display in this game is a clear reminder that for a quarterback you want a serious, nose to the grind stone type of personality. You want a Peyton Manning. You want a Tom Brady. A Drew Breeze, a Aaron Rogers a Russell Wilson… oh hey, all those guys are Superbowl winners. Who was the last guy with a personality more like Cam’s to go to a Superbowl? Hmm, now I can’t even remember his name. That 49er’s guy. Is he still even in the league?
So, why do you guys all hate Tom Brady so Much? If Tom gets kicked in the teeth like that in a game he will keep fighting. Cam pouts on the sideline and opts not to dive for a ball he probably could have got.
Ya, if I was him I’d be pretty embarrassed this morning.
I think, I think you just brought tears to my eyes man. Beautiful post.
Congratulations to the Broncos. What a terrific defensive performance. Von Miller was a complete stud.
The Panthers played tight and stupid. First half Newton misses a wide open receiver by 10 feet. A lot of bad penalties. How many false starts and one too much time penalty can a team have on a neutral field?
Newton is a frontrunner. Remember a couple of years ago when he was sulking? Well it all came back last night. Mentally weak, just having fun when he’s winning.
Not a leader at all.
Couldn’t be happier for Miller and Ware in particular, but honestly I want to congratulate everyone but TJ Ward.
Fuck TJ Ward.
Happy for Wade Phillips too. He called a great game, and Elway put together a great team.
I know the feeling, when Seattle played in the Superbowl last year, I saw an old teammate of mine on the sideline who is now an assistant coach for Seattle.
True. Even though I know this, I lost sight of it in favoring Carolina.
Earlier it was Josh Gordon and now Martavis Bryant facing long suspension, almost certainly over something that’s been decriminalized and medically acceptable for years and nearly two decades, respectively.
As if archaic or draconian aren’t bad enough on their own, thanks to the NFL for combining em and robbing viewers of true game-changers at the position.

I read a report that Bryant was checking into rehab. I doubt it is weed.
