Man-o-man what a Sunday for football…

Can’t believe this thread is so dead.

Peyton bombs, Pats survive the dumpster fire, defaltegate curse continues as the Ravens eat shit again, Cowboys Seahawks & Green Bay all folding in games they should have won…

If I had to guess it’s going to be Bengals/Panthers in the Suberbowl, Panthers beating the Giants or Seahawks to get there and the Bengals beating the Pats or Steelers.
The Cowboys are letting me down week after week. But, we are not dead yet.

Number 9 on the field and number 1 in our hearts. Tony Romo returns!!!
No, the Cowboys are most definitely dead. They only have two more divisional games left against the Redskins and yes, while the NFC East is only second to the AFC South in being the shittiest division, I don’t see how they come back to win the division (which is what they have to do, they won’t make it as a wild card). I can’t see how the Cowboys a +3 to +4 win differential over the Giants or Eagles in the next seven games.
No, the Cowboys are not definitely dead. Look at the other teams remaining schedule. I can realistically seeing each team going 500 the remainder of the season. Just like their current record indicates. They each have a couple quality teams on their schedule. 9-7 wins the NFC East this year.
Lol, you really think Dallas wins out? Oh man…
No way, I say the BEST we could do is 8-8 but in all reality it will be 6-10 or 7-9.
Shit the way this year is Romo could come out and end up hurt again. Just not our year.

Sucks cause now I have to start looking at the draft, we need a QB to start grooming under Romo.

Is Peyton Manning done?

Good question. I guess whether you believe his performance in the last 11 months or so has been health related or just his eventual decline. I’m guessing both. I think the Broncos would have to REALLY believe he can get (and stay) healthy for 2016 to bring him back, probably at a reduced salary. Peyton’s 2015 season is eerily like Favre’s last season almost. Maybe Peyton just hangs it up.

Production is seriously down and while I always thought he was one of the most cerebral QB’s to ever play, at some point the body will not respond. It is a young man’s game (which is hard to say since the fucker is younger than me) and at what point does he just leave the game?

Surprising passed three weeks I would say. Dumervil completely blew that game and the hopes of Baltimore. My good friend actually predicted the jags and bucs to win. He has a crystal ball I tell ya.
The boys are done if Romo was back sooner they may have salvaged the season.

I can’t believe the Bengie sand GB drops another gimme l this week. The Cards and bengies game is of most interest to myself this week. Also praying the jets win outright, made a bet with the wife while she was pumping me up about them sucking ever year, they have to go 9.5 or better on the season. I am also crushing fantasy pool this year, Gronk ,Brown Neutron and Alshon have been my saviors. As much as I hate Roethlisberger he always plays great when he is injured so kudos to that asshole.

Oh yeah I also showed up to say that Johnny Money Manziel is now starting for the browns. I think they are trying to audition him for trades and get draft pics for him. Would be the smartest option, he would be a good backup with more experience

I would bet Peyton comes back when his foot feels better. No way he is done the season has been lackluster but I doubt their back up can fill his shoes. With their defense they need a manager of the clock, i think Peyton is one of the best at it.

Thoughts on Johnny Rehab?

Going for the #1 pick, and hopefully be able to lure a quality coach/GM/Pres. of football operations. Hopefully Haslam will back a up a brinks truck to Bill Polian’s house and make a call to his buddy Peyton.

Manziel will get injured before the end of the year.

Three of those defenses are legit, for real, hard nosed motherfuckers. And the Packers should have their collective offensive heads out fo their ass soon, and have a serviceable D.

That said, I can see NJG going 3-3 with their schedule. But, the Giants are the only ones I see doing anything in the playoffs.

(Watch, they will fucking beat the pats in the superbowl again… lol)

Lol Beans…
Hey, between Luck sucking donkey balls and Baltimore beating themselves even when they are about to win… Couldn’t ask for more to be honest. Don’t even care what happens to the Pats as long as Baltimore and Indy continue to look like massive piles of shit, I’m happy.

I guess Karma hasn’t struck for Hernandez yet then…

He’s in prison for a long, long time. So yeah, I’d say karma struck.

I can’t wait for Sunday.

That is what I’m talking about. Sunday! We Dem Boys!

Karma against the team. I think a decade of horrible QB play after Brady will suffice.

You know, busting your balls isn’t any fun when you take it serious…

In other news… I think Mariota (however you spell it) might end up a fairly serviceable QB in this league.

comparatively speaking - this is a likely scenario … after brady and belichick retire, I’m bracing for a return to sucksville

Maybe Tebow will be available.

not sure how that would change things?? Do you mean to coach or …? Dude has zero value to offer to any NFL team EVER!! (aside from obviously being touched by God - that’s the ONLY explanation how he won a playoff game in Denver)

Polian wouldn’t get rid of Manziel, he likes Manziel’s talent at QB. Are you thinking Polian would bring in Peyton to be the QB coach? Because that is the only logical reason anyone would bring him into an organisation at this point.

The Browns will be in position to get a quality RB in the next draft. They are showing they have some skill in their passing game, a legit RB and a 2nd round lineman could do a lot for their success.

The real problem with Cleveland is they are in Cleveland. Any player that emerges as a league best player is going to want to get out of there when free-agency is available to them. Especially with how Manziel has been handled.

It’s been a very long time since I have seen a head coach show such a obvious dislike of a gifted player during a game when that player is giving his team a chance to win. Maybe not since Seifert with Haley. That Cincy game at half-time interview with Pett was mind boggling to me.

Manziel at least showed people, that are being somewhat honest in their evaluation of Manziel, that he can make throws from the pocket. I don’t understand how a “fan” of the Browns can’t help but be excited about watching Manziel play QB for their team for the remainder of the season? Those “fans” don’t have to worry to much about it though, in a few years Manziel will be out of Cleveland. The problem for them is, a few years after that they will be seeing their ex-QB doing his thing in a different uniform

In that Cincy game in the first half, Manziel was moving around, making plays, starting to get to the defense, and driving his team down the field and sustaining drives. Going off the field at half trailing the Bengals 14-10 after showing life on offense, in large part to Manziel, Coach Pett talks about changing Manziel’s game . I was watching that game and when the reporter grabbed Coach Pett going off the field at half I was expecting something like " Manziel is doing some things that are helping us keep drives alive, he’s showing his mobility, and we are going to try and use that to help open up the defense for some big plays in the second half" But, noooo, “We’ll get him calmed down a little bit in the second half and hope we get some more production .” They came out on the first drive and had some drops on the drive to keep it alive, then flat lined.

I know right… Shit, even if you count the superbowl in the late 90’s, that’s almost 20 years of success? What’s crazy is other than serviceable years from Dillion, Ridley, Blount, BGE, Smith, Martin (he did it more consistently), we haven’t had a true workhorse back who stayed with us in 20 years. Man, I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Maroney’s hype (remember the “He’s a ‘violent’ runner” quote lol).

I joke with my wife that I have to go back to elementary school to remember the last time we sucked and how after Brady/BB retires (Patricia waiting in the wings?) that I will probably be like all those Lion’s fans that just curse all Sunday.
