2015 NFL Season

We gave you that game. I bet you were shaking in your boots when they overturned that touchdown and it was 4th and 2.

Charles torn ACL. Chiefs playing like garbage. Gonna be a long season. 2011 all over.

There is no other option. The Cowboys are going to have to go with Cassel. Weeden is not able to get it done. One game back in the division.

Agreed but then Cassel will not get it done either.

We have no #1 WR playing right now. They are stacking the box with 8 men. Our Defense cannot hold up (which I am happy to see some real improvement on that D) with our O going 3 and out every time they get the ball

The D looked pretty good yesterday. It isn’t like they were playing a second rate chump offense. Absolutely abused the O-Line and made Blount look like, well Blount.

But yeah, with Romo and Dez, that was a different game yesterday.

Re: officiating.

Holy shit is it bad this year. In the Buffalo game, they give the Bills a gift horse collar call, and then, don’t give the same fucking tackle a flag when Buffalo is on D.

Then, and this pisses me off more, on the next play they flag Buffalo on a bullshit hit to a receiver, which I can only assume is to make up for the fuckign up of the horse collar.

The Refs are god awful this year and it’s annoying.

They kept showing on first down how they would stack the box with 8 and then cover 1 on 1 on our WR. Our WR are just not able to get open.

Agreed if Romo and Dez were playing it would have been an more entertaining game. Kind of sucks that we all missed out on that kind of game.

Instead we get the Browns and Baltimore battling it out. lol jk

This should be more concerning than anything else IMO.

Look, I will love Butler until the day the man dies for his pick in the Superbowl, and he’s been serviceable so far this year. Plays his ass off 100% of the time, and learns quick. But he shouldn’t be shutting down your #1 completely, which he did yesterday, at this point in his development.

Maybe in two years he’ll be the next Revis, but right now, Williams should have gone for 100 and a touch.

Exactly and the reason we could put Cassel in but he is not mobile enough either. Right now the only way we could win a few games is if we had a duel threat QB. I fucking hate to say it but we would have been better with someone like Vick. Sigh and that is HARD to say.

I don’t want to come off as discounting that defensive line performance, particularly Hardy, but don’t forget that our offensive line is in flux right now, specifically the interior.

2015 UFA C Andrews - 59 snaps
2013 UFA G Kline - 48 snaps
2015 4th G Mason - 42 snaps
2015 4th G Jackson 32 snaps

Cassel might not do any better than Weeden without Dez, but I think he has a really good chance to. We don’t have a choice at this point. Weeden has had three games, he just isn’t going to get it done.

Cassel is our only choice right now.

I am not complaining about our D at all. Plus Gregory is coming back soon also. The Defense played a good game and gave us a chance to win. I thought the d-backs could have done more on the pick plays, like running into the receiver setting the pick. Not throwing their hands up or trying to go around them.

Marinelli came out with a great plan to really put the brakes on the Pats offense. The Patriots did a really good job of making adjustments at halftime.

Well if you’re giving away games, we’ll be more than happy to accept the gift. We did not play well yesterday, but an ugly win is still a win.

I was gonna say, putting it all on Weeden? Not even hardly fair. That run game should be killing opponents and it’s not. It’s not bad, but I don’t think anybody can beat the Patriots on their current hot streak.

When the injury bug bites, no one can win especially when it’s your best players.

Ugh, I know and I wonder if JJ is not considering that now. Our line cant hold anyone out for 9 seconds while the WR get the DB’s tired from running around every play. Sigh.

The injury bug can turn a first place team in to an 8-8 team in a big fat hurry. It happened to us a couple of years ago and there is nothing you can do but suck it up. Backups can only hold the fort down for a couple of games, that’s what they are designed to do. To many folks go down your basically running your preseason team out there against everybody else’s first string. You have get lucky with the schedule. Running into the Pat’s with your second string is not being lucky with the schedule.

Gone are the days of Joe Montana and Steve Young backing him up.

You spend 20 million on a #1 QB then your back up is going to be a scrub who can barely hold a clipboard.

I have never taken ESPN’s QBR seriously, but… According to ESPN, Weeden was the best QB on the field Sunday…

No that had to be the Browns QB
