I couldn’t finish that book. I don’t think the writing style was interesting enough. Just throwing in my two cents.

I can totally relate to this. The best story in the world means nothing if not told with style and flair.
There’s a sequel to Hellraiser by Clive Barker coming out in may called The Scarlet Gospels.
I will buy that in hardcover because I won’t be able to wait for the paperback.
My buddy got me into Scott Lynch’s Gentleman Bastard series, I like them quite a bit
I just read The Boys in The Boat. It is about the merican rowing team from Washington and how they went from being freshmen and most of them working class, and becoming America’s team in the 1939 Olympics in Berlin. The story is timeless and is very well written the Author does a great job at blending the state of the American economy and themes that coincide with a downtrodden economy and also includes brief and detailed summaries of the making of Olympia and the rise of the nazis. I would highly recommend this book. I could go into details but I would rather you guys read this it is a good story.
