Sorry, Bro. Defense ends championships!

He should have spent more time at training camp instead sexting with some chicks.

YEAH
I sent this post when Brett threw the INT to Lowery Im a fucking Jets Fan!

There is a different feeling in the air!

Any other year under any regime, wether it be Herms regime, Parcells regime, Al Grohs regime, Pete Carroll’s regime fucking Joe Walton’s regime…we would of lost this game in the 4th quarter.

Many of us Jet fans always sing the same old Jets tune…but the fact of the matter is we have been mildly successful over the past decade. but always a 9-7 10 - 6 type team with let down years.

This is a game we would lose every other year, not this year…in a game where we could of lost because of Rex Ryan’s cockiness and poor game management skills (wheres herms father time when you need him) in a game where the 4 inch qb had a little magic left, in a game where Darelle Revis clearly wasnt himself in the 4th quarter, Sanchez was off the mark…we still held on.

This my friends is all you could hope for as a Jet fan for the first 5 games.

It looked like Brett Favre could of used some help from Broadway Joe on how to take a snap from center.

On the cover of this morning’s NY Post…gotta love it.

^PERFECT.

I agree w/your post Matty. We’re pessimist at best. So it was good to see them beat their way out of wet paper sack. A win is a win is a win…

Man I was seriously disappointed with last nights game. We had the winning of it if only Bowe could actually catch the football. The more I see of Cassel the less I think he is the future. On the other hand our defense is going from strength to strength and I think has to be taken seriously. Crennel for coordinator of the year.
Watch a Cowboy game for disappointment, the Chiefs are already playing above expectations. They held Manning to no passing touchdowns and a pick. A loss is a loss there are no style points in the NFL, however you should be fucking happy the way your team has played this year.
Either my vikes or your cowboys are going to start the season 1 and 4 now thats a big fucking disappointment.

Loser does not make playoffs, and winner probably ends up wild card. Fuck my life sometimes.

Playing Devil’s Advocate:

Once the Viking Offense gels, jesus…they will be bad ass. If they could get a RB to compliment Adrian Peterson, they will be BEASTLY!

Moss, Rice, Harvin, Shianco, Peterson, Favre. Nasty.

^They don’t need a compliment back. They need a back who can pick up the blitz! They looked lost last night.

EDIT- Their is no such thing as jelling w/Favre. With the addition of Moss, it’s like adding kerosene w/gasoline.

Favre looked awful last night. He was openly clutching his elbow after every play, and I have serious doubts of whether or not he’s going to be able to make it through the entire season.

I agree, but this will hinge on Favre. He is showing his age.

They used to have a back that complimented Adrian Peterson: Chester Taylor. Pro Bowl caliber Running who could run, catch, and block. They eventually let him go for Cap space I believe. If they still had Chester Taylor and Rice healthy…good lord.

True. But think about it. Hand off to Peterson 20-25 times. Play action fake and then throw to any receiver you want.

The bastard is old, but he put one hell of a move on the Linebacker/DE Gholston.

Could not watch the game last night, was the wifes birthday so…well you know. Anyway from what I heard they shut down Peterson, so then what?

Im not a jets fan or anything but I do support them, last night on the Randy Moss’s TD catch when the jets brought the blitz on the 30 yard line or whatever all I could think was “not this shit again” haha. Im glad they stayed tough

I know there is a learning curve to become a succesfull head coach in the NFL but Mike Singletary looks lost out there. A good QB can help obviously but that locker room must be walking on eggshells every minute of the day and like any workplace that can drain a team fast.

I like the guy but is his temper and intensity type personality more suited to defensive cordinator and not head coach?

Steelers might be facing Colt McCoy this weekend, this will be ugly…should be ugly…

I admit the San Fran bet was stupid, but Greenbay? COME ON, how the fuck to they lose to the loserskins?

;)
I hope you get attacked by a swarm of bats you JERK!!!

The Redskins are injuring major players every game. What’s going on here? Vick, Rodgers, A Johnson, Matthews, Finley, Lee, L McCoy, etc. Are we making up for our poor D coverage by being brutal in our tackles or what? It’s almost like this is the plan right now…?

Say what you want about Favre but his arm strength has not diminshed one bit…dudes got a howitzer

Rex Ryan, IMO maybe just maybe has to tone down the blitzing on 3rd down…opposing teams are just realizing that hes gonna do it maybe fake blitz and hold back we did get burned twice

I think the Jets could really mess with most of the qbs they face by faking a full house blitz or something on 3rd and then dropping the guys back. I’m sure Rex will figure out something brilliant and we will see it really soon. Love watching that defense play.
