It’s got me a little worried. 3 tests over range then this one completely different.
I added my 3rd medichecks results and the NHS ones to the original post.
Any suggestions?

Mine is over range too but don’t have issues. If it isn’t steadily getting higher and you don’t have a tumor then oh well.
I really have no idea about this stuff. It looks like the prolactin is steadily going up and I have no idea about a tumour or not.
Thanks for getting back ![]()
Are you getting all of the results (thats like 10 parameters) from one finger prick test? Whats the blood volume that you take for such a test, about 1mL?
If this is the case than i wouldnt trust the test too much. Lower sample amount typically translates into lower accuracy and precision.
T has come back multiple times fine now. SHBG is also ok.
Orgasm can temporarily elevate prolactin, but in healthy subjects it returns to base levels within about 1 to 2 hours post orgasm.
I wouldnt worry too much about the prolactin, i would worry more about the persistent headache. But worrying about a persistent headache can result in even more pronouncet headache, at least thats the case for me.
Any significant stress at the moment in your life?
Just to be on the safe side, what you need is a more comprehensive analysis from a proper blood draw (venous blood like the last from NHS)
@johann77
The last blood test I did (decently extensive) they pulled 7 of those blood bottles worth of blood. They seemed to be least a ml per bottle and they were the larger of the two sizes they had. I can’t imagine a finger prick being as precise unless labcorp is using some outdated technology.
Seems crazy that they could sell the blood test the way they do if it can’t be accurate. I’ve emailed them about it. See if i can swing a discount for a full blood draw to be sure.
