2 Articles About Testosterone

Think about what the older generations had to survive compared to us. World War 1, the Spanish Flu, the Great Depression, and World War 2. All back to back. Compared to our grandfathers, we are pussies.

If the ghetto is as tough as TV makes it out to be then the people that live there are pretty damn tough. Stuff like putting sandbags against the wall to stop bullets, it seems pretty tough to me. But then, thats a small minority that has to deal with that.

I grew up in Southeast Houston. It was a fairly rough neighborhood. I just never saw extremely weak looking people growing up unless they were small children. I have made comments before that no grown man should have to work hard to get 15" arms because that is about average for someone who doesn’t workout. I was then hit with several posts about how some guys don’t know grown men with 15" arms naturally.

I think there are just a shitload of pussies around today. No grown man should have trouble carrying in the groceries by himself, but by the looks of things, quite a few fit that profile.

There is no way you would want to remain the 130lbs weakling when you run the risk of having your shoes stolen at gun point on the way home from school. That is why I didn’t even know any guys growing up who didn’t at least do push ups on a regular basis if they didn’t have access to any weights.

I can say one thing though…I am very glad I grew up the way I did now.

50 years ago there was also more social re-enforcement of the masculine stereotype for males. Basically, you got slapped around if you were a sissy, so a lot of guys who might not have had much drive on their own stepped up because of social pressure. Now, it seems like the opposite is in vogue.

I’m not saying it’s alright to pick on someone weaker than you, that is extremely un-manly in my book, but these days it seems like the idea of a father trying to teach his son what it means to be a man is becoming socially unacceptable. Boys are somehow supposed to find their own definition of manhood, and many are getting lost along the way.

Why do they hate Mankind?
