I definitely think he is a politician, but career? He has only been in politics for 10 years.

I would like to see these principles of socialism put into action. Would it be a positive effect or negative effect? Even if itās negative, at least I found out.
Bring on President Harris, then! This country needs to divide. Thereās no reason that New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut need to be ruled by the same bunch that rule Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Itād be one thing if they agreed to contribute to one anotherās defense against invasion, but itās absurd to think they need everything controlled by the other. The American Experiment ended years and years ago, and this thing needs to be allowed to divide.

Do you seriously think thereās no middle ground between Trump/DeSantis and anarchy/drag shows? A person canāt dislike Trump and still support other Republicans? Or dislike Trump and Democrats? Youāre part of the problem, dude. Not to mention @cyclonengineerās been pretty vocal about how he feels about certain issues and I havenāt seen what youāre assuming about him.
I donāt know what the effects would be but some (most) people canāt afford to ālearn from a negative experience.ā Once you get a family, a house, etc. itās pretty important that things donāt go badly.

True. Itās why Iām so patient with that family stuff, not gonna bother with it if Iām not confident I can afford it.

If you think government should have more taxed? Cool - pay more.
Stop making or thinking everyone should have to act and bow to what you want.
If you arenāt harming anyone else, you should be able to do it and be left the fuck alone by government and everyone else.

Show me where your examples are happening or how law and order has been increased directly because of DeSantis (frankly, I think we should make possession of drugs a simple fine and focus efforts where it matters - take out drug dealers). Tell me how a drag queen reading to a school child is problematic outside of your worldview (since crossdressers exist and are a part of the fabric of reality - whether we like it or not). Are they showing children explicit sex acts or talking about them?

He may get my vote if the Dems canāt put up anyone middle of road (highly likely probability in 2023 where polarization is almost mandated).
Socialism isnāt the answer to whatever ails the US either. I think the true problem is the US is just too damn big of a country to be ruled by one government. Cultures are different enough from state to state to warrant a split.
This is where i am at. No leading candidate is worth a damn for the presidency at the moment.
I agree with this. I want less government involvement - not more. Government should provide for national defense a few other choice things, but thatās it.

You know thatās a gross generalization and looks like a childish argument. We know the country has become more polarized especially since the take over of social media.
That has an effect on the ability or willingness of the major parties to put forth a candidate that may pull votes from the other side of the aisle. Thatās the only way we would get change. That and term limits in Congress (I actually think this is more important than who we elect to be president every 4 years).
The word compromise is no longer a part of the political vocabulary.
It looks, to me, like more and more people agree on most issues all the time. Thereās fighting about petty bullshit that doesnāt really matter one way or the other.
100% both establishments are for big government just in different ways.
Why I hate them both.
