Meh.
Hate IS like a cancer… and the best way to get rid of cancer is to cut that hateful thing out of your life and throw it away with the rest of the hazardous waste.
If your situation proves too tricky for social-surgery, remember that chemotherapy is generally the next option. Poison the emotional tumor and spit on the shit you took on its grave.
Or, you can check out the latest SAMA fiasco thread. Unless the person you are mad at is as much of a soulless, degenerate, bottom-dwelling piece of shit as that thigh scar guy, you should be fine.
Treating the universe as if it were a mail-order catalog by expecting it to gratify our every desire.
Yearning for the “freedom” to achieve every last wish. This is not freedom, but being the slave of your own thoughts.
Seeking too much pleasure. Pleasurable sensations soon become dull, and often become unpleasant.
Maliciously taking revenge on someone who has hurt you. By doing so, you become like them and poison your own mind.
Assuming that any one thing will make you happy. Such predictions usually don’t turn out to be true.
Expecting all praise and no criticism. Without criticism, you won’t progress.
To vanquish all your enemies. Animosity never brings happiness.
To never face adversity. Refraining from doing so will make you weak and vulnerable.
Expending all your effort on taking care of yourself alone. Altruism and compassion are the roots of genuine happiness.

This list sucks.
2 and 3 are basically the same except in one scenario you are “granted” and in the other you “achieve”. Technically most of us are already have enough freedom to achieve our wishes, and the word achieve denotes effort being placed on your part…being able to achieve your wishes based on your own hard work seems like the definition of happiness to me?
4 is absolute shit. How many of you could ever get tired of beer, pussy, steak, weed, video games, and lifting weights?
5 is crap. Poison your own mind? By whose standards? Religion? “God”?
6 is just an assumption for the most part, how many of you would be disappointed if all of a sudden you had a Lamborghini?
7 is ok, though most criticism you get through your life isn’t very constructive.
8 is crap. Having no enemies sounds great, and the modern world is a result of vanquishing enemies at different points in history.
9 is absolute bullshit. Being weak and vulnerable is not a problem if there is no adversity. If there was no adversity, such subjective terms as weak and vulnerable wouldn’t exist?
10 is ok but compassion and altruism increase your own feelings of worth and happiness, therefore they are not truly self-less deeds and are simply done for the purpose of making yourself feel better.

You should probably add “dating a superhot chick” in there, since most guys dream about it and once they do it, they realize … “holy hell, girls this hot are crazy” and then come back down to the 7’s and 8’s because they’re more stable.
“Next to every beautiful woman, is a man bored with what he once would have killed for.”
I forget who I got that from but it stands true. Usually better to want than to have and you’ll Always want something other than what you’ve got.
haha I know this as, “Wherever there’s a hot chick, there’s a guy that’s tired of fucking her.”

This entire thing has been made incredibly public, so I don’t feel amiss about commenting on it. Everyone involved needs to take comments like this and forward them straight into the person their aimed at’s inbox. All three keep saying “this is over with; I want to move on” but the way it’s being said is a thinly veiled attempt to rehash the whole thing, which I can understand because everyone’s feelings are being mauled.
If you want this to last forever, keep commenting on the forums like this. If you want it to be over faster, deal with people directly to their face, preferably on a telephone. BTW, I don’t just mean you- I gave this same advice to others involved and it applies to everyone going through something similar.
What I really hate about the situation is that it almost seems like you two are fighting over Hip Scar. What a freaking waste of energy. Both of you would make a better friend for each other than that guy.
Okay, I’m done sticking my nose in your business. Carry on.
