1 in 5 Say Obama is Muslim

I think this is Jesus flexing his muscles in America

It’s not the typical American, it’s the loudest. And that’s a shame, because the majority of Americans I’ve had the pleasure to meet are nice, well spoken people. It’s the loud obnoxious inbred rednecks that know how to make noise that make America look bad.

Oh thanks, you didn’t have to say that though.

Your statement is contradictory and self-refuting - maturity involves ascribing to more and more realistic positions as you age and grow wiser, not less and less realistic. That is, in essence, what maturity is about - and your sentence makes no sense.
If you say so.

I do not subscribe to the idea that more maturity leads to a world view that is more realistic.

It can also lead to a world view that is still wrong and unrealistic but more emotionally nuanced and tempered by doubt.

Your automatic condescension when you do not understand something or your instinctive dismissal of anytthing that does not fit into you preconceived notions leads me to believe that Dustins maturity is probably not the one you should lose any sleep over.

Doesn’t matter is you “subscribe” to it. Maturity is supposed to cure naivete, and naivete is believing in positions that are unrealistic. Your comment remains self-refuting.

Translation: I hate it when Thunderbolt beats me about the head and shoulders when I make incredibly dumb comments, so I will default to my defense mechanism of “you just don’t understand it!”.

Bwahahahah. They give those with every fill-up at Exxon these days.
Yeah, fuck that. I’d hold out for the Hulk Hogan glasses.

If you think so.

Anything of substance to add or do you prefer to continue to express your maturity with snarkish fluff?

Really Dustin?

Is that what you think of us?

Is that me, you and your father right there?

Sometimes you honestly piss me off.
Chushin, baby, calm down. It was a half-hearted attempt at trolling some of yous guys and worked. Not A Headhunter level troll job, but it got the job done.

The bigger point is just how easy it is to push the buttons of some you. The collective you care more about Obama being a durn Muslim or building “mosques” (community centers) at Ground Zero than caring about anything of substance.

You shouldn’t take the internets so serious.

edit - typo

Dustin has to get his kicks being all anti-authoritarian and snarky - you get bonus points when you rebel against “the Man” and an easy metaphor for “the Man” is America.

Nah, I just get a kick out of posting silly pictures in the PWI forum that I know will get everyone’s panties in a collective bunch.

I win.
I don’t know what Dustin’s excuse is.
My own enjoyment, really. The more interesting point is the reactions from some of you.

And the fact that I can post (obviously) silly pictures which legitimately piss people off (Chushin, really?) calls into question who the immature people actually are. Anyone who gets pissed at anonymous people of internets has some anger issues.

Some of you take this forum and yourselves too seriously.

The last five years of my life have been quite an eye-opener and it has lead me to believe that the government isn’t the answer.

Just how much if it humans need, if at all, is the bigger question. How is that immature?

This most cereal discussion, I might add, all stems from the overreaction of the flag-wavers to my most righteous (goofy) depictions of Americans.

The grounds for scapegoatting Muslims grows by the day. The Muslims will be the Jews of 1930’s Germany.

That didn’t happen, but enjoy your self-awarded trophy nonetheless.

You’re an “anarchist!” - the question answers itself.

I will, thanks.

Strangely, I don’t recall any stories of Jewish people in 1930 killing Hindus, Christians, secular people, and each other around the world.

No it doesn’t, as these political discussions are based more on (my own) personal philosophy or belief.

In other words, I’m realistic. A voluntary/minarchist society is, at this point, very unlikely to happen in my lifetime for several reasons, but I’m not going to stop supporting the liberty movement.

Hard to fault those people for believing that. There’s definitely more evidence of him acting or being raised muslim than christian, especially relative to how things used to be. The reality of America is now wilder than Hollywood fiction.
Chushin wrote:

I have to admit, I can’t understand why anyone would spend time here if they’re just going to post shit that they don’t really believe. To watch other folks get worked up?

See no reason to communicate with anyone like that.

Whatever, I guess.

I’ll stay clear of your “fun” from now on, ok?
Now you have got it Chushin,

He posts shit and when he gets called on it he back pedals faster then Lance Armstrong, there were several examples with us serviceman that he posted then he carries on like a girl when called on it.

At least some others on here that I disagree with it have the strength of their convictions and dont retort it was all for ‘‘fun’’.

Another irrelevant post from Aussie486. King of the drive by posters whose only contributions to these threads is to e-fellate his conservative buddies.

Job well done.
